These images were created using paint of one kind or another, and a very, very small brush. They take a long time to make, but the work is incredibly cathartic. I hesitate to use the term "pointillism," which implies the use of small blobs of color to create a picture of something at least reasonably lifelike. For me, these images are about the dots themselves, about the careful application of paint to paper. Thus: dotillism.
